This pre-launch policy explains how Pitstop handles information on this website. It should be reviewed and updated before the iOS app launches or any production signup provider is connected.
Information we collect
If the early-access form is connected, we collect the email address you submit, the source of the submission, and the page path used for basic launch-list operations. We do not ask for sensitive personal information on this website.
Website data
This static site does not intentionally use advertising trackers or cross-site tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may process standard request data such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps to deliver and secure the site.
The Pitstop app
The iOS app may request location and notification access to find and surface worthwhile stops along a drive. Those permissions are controlled through iOS. Details about app data, local memories, account features, and any future syncing will be added before public launch.
Data sharing
We do not sell personal information. Pitstop may use Supabase to store early-access signup information and Cloudflare to host the website. Any future analytics or email providers should be added here before launch.
Your choices
You may decline optional device permissions and may request removal from future launch emails using the unsubscribe method included with those messages.
Children
Pitstop is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy as Pitstop develops. The revision date above will reflect the latest version.
