These terms govern your use of the Pitstop iPhone app and getpitstopapp.com. Use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If these terms conflict with Apple's agreement, Apple's agreement controls to the extent of the conflict.
Using Pitstop
You may use Pitstop for personal, lawful purposes. You may not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, misuse its content or services, or use Pitstop in a misleading, unsafe, or harmful way.
Safety
Pitstop is intended as a road trip discovery companion, not a navigation or emergency service. Drivers must keep their attention on the road and obey traffic laws. Passengers should operate the app whenever possible. Always stop safely before interacting with a device or visiting a suggested place.
Places and routes
Information about roads, stops, hours, access, conditions, and suitability can change. Verify critical details with official sources and use your own judgment before changing course or entering a location.
Free and Premium access
Pitstop includes free features and optional automatically renewing Pitstop Premium subscriptions. Available plans, prices, billing periods, and any introductory offer are shown before purchase and may vary by country or region. Payment is charged to your Apple Account after confirmation. Subscriptions renew unless canceled through your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting Pitstop does not cancel a subscription. Restore Purchases can recover an active entitlement associated with the same Apple Account.
If Premium ends, Pitstop does not intentionally delete or hide memories and trips you created while subscribed. Some actions that create new Premium content may remain unavailable until access is restored.
Your content and iCloud
You keep ownership of the notes, photos, memories, and saved trips you add to Pitstop. When iCloud is available, Pitstop may sync this content through your private iCloud database to devices using the same Apple Account. You are responsible for content you choose to store and for maintaining access to your Apple Account and devices.
Changes and availability
Pitstop may add, change, or retire features, stops, routes, and subscription offerings. We may also suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or misuse. We will not intentionally remove your locally stored personal content solely because a feature or plan changes.
Intellectual property
Pitstop’s name, branding, artwork, interface, copy, and site content are owned by Pitstop or used with permission. These terms do not grant rights to reuse them beyond ordinary personal access to the site.
Third-party services
Pitstop uses Apple services including Maps, MapKit, iCloud, notifications, and StoreKit. Third-party destinations and websites have their own terms and privacy practices. Pitstop is not responsible for their availability, content, or actions.
Disclaimer
Pitstop is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, safety, or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by law. Pitstop is not responsible for losses caused by road conditions, closures, inaccurate place information, unsafe device use, or decisions made after viewing a suggestion.
Changes
We may update these terms as Pitstop develops. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply.
